I started getting tattooed about 22 years ago, so I was already nearly 50... I worked at that time in America as an accountant and was terrified anyone would find out that I had this tiny tattoo. My big influence was Cher, I saw her and thought I could do this, and almost immediately I thought I have to get myself covered in tattoos! When I left the world of business I started to get more, and then when I retired I embarked on getting a tattoo bodysuit. I am very drawn to body decoration of any kind and this is just a kind of emotion and instinct, it's not intellectual. Because I sound quite posh and went to public school people are really surprised when they see my extensive coverage and that's quite amusing. So I will continue to get my legs and lower arms done in the future...as long as I live long enough and am keen to be 'completed'. Being tattooed makes me happy.
