Mothers Love

My son had become ill, and that was the inspiration. We were told he was probably going to die. I was in so much emotional pain, that having the tattoo was healing in a way. I was reclaiming and owning my own body. My tattoo is about love and separation. Once i had this tattoo done I felt that me and my children could never be separated. The mermaid on my right represents me. It was also about finding what my sexuality is, and that's why there's two mermaids.
